"We cannot say enough good things about this breeder! Our Shiba Inu is now 5 years old and is still as healthy, calm, and well-mannered as the day we brought him home. From the very beginning, it was clear how much knowledge, care, and intention goes into how they breed and raise their dogs. He came to us already knowing basic commands and was potty trained, which made the transition incredibly smooth. His temperament is truly exceptional — he is calm, rarely barks, not aggressive at all, and incredibly affectionate and cuddly. He’s also beautifully and properly bred. His size and structure are exactly what you want to see in a Shiba. He has the perfect curled tail, thick plush coat, and a striking bright red color that has held beautifully over the years.
What really sets this breeder apart is their passion and deep understanding of Shiba Inus as a breed. Unfortunately, Shibas often get a bad reputation due to improper breeding or handling, and this breeder is the perfect example of how knowledgeable, ethical breeding makes all the difference. They clearly understand the breed’s temperament, needs, and behaviors, and it shows in the dogs they produce.
If you are looking for a Shiba Inu with excellent health, correct breed standards, and an outstanding temperament, I cannot recommend this breeder enough. We feel incredibly lucky to have a dog like ours — he is truly perfect!!"

"Yumin kennel has been such a pleasure to work with from day one. They are a wonderful and kind family, and they always have the best interests of their dogs in mind.
When we adopted Aki, our now 10 month old Shiba Inu, they walked us through all the details and answered any questions we had about the puppies, about the breed, and how best to bond with our shiba. We got to see Aki’s parents and they gave us a nice background on themselves as breeders as well as their history with the dogs. The puppies were up-to-date on all vaccinations and were micro chipped appropriately, perfect in every way!

Kitsuné is incredibly well-behaved, confident, and even-tempered. From day one, he fit seamlessly into my family. He is amazing with my three children…patient, gentle, and playful, and he bonded beautifully with his doggy sister, Paisley. Their relationship is a true testament to how well-socialized Kitsuné was before coming home to me.
